Bus Plunges Off Road in Dasdhunga, 19 Injured

Kathmandu: A bus carrying passengers veered off the road and plunged at Dasdhunga along the Narayanghat-Muglin road section, resulting in 19 injuries.

The incident occurred early this morning when the bus with registration number Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 5237 was en route to Kathmandu, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit.

The bus had approximately 40 passengers on board who were traveling from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa.

The accident took place at 5:20 am at Dasdhunga in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29. The bus lost control and fell approximately 10 meters off the road, as reported by the police.

Currently, 18 injured individuals are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Chitwan district. Additionally, one person has been referred to Kathmandu for further medical attention, as stated by the police.
